Many products pass through degreasing baths, pickling and sinks. Dip, deflecting, squeezing and load-bearing rolls are used there and guide the product through the sections of the system. These rolls come into contact with the aggressive fluids used in these baths and become soft, sticky or cracked and the surfaces can be eroded.

The consequences are contamination or damage to the product, excessive change intervals and damage to the roll cores caused by penetrating fluid.

Only coatings optimally matched to the process chemistry guarantee a long service life and optimised squeezing results.

Problems in brief:

  • Roll coatings that run in pickling or degreasing processes become soft
  • Roll coatings that run in pickling or degreasing processes become sticky
  • Roll coatings that run in pickling or degreasing processes split open
  • Roll coatings that run in pickling or degreasing processes show erosion
