Roll coatings used in neolyte pickling must be electrically conductive as well as resistant to the fliuds used at high temperatures.

Also, electrostatic charging of the product often occurs due to separation of the charges. Because all rolls in the systems are often coated with insulating coatings, the charges cannot drain off. Special earthing rolls with an electrically conductive coating dissipate these dangerous charges safely via the earthed frame or via a separate earthing point.

Problems in brief:

  • Roll coatings for neolyte pickling
  • Conductive roll coatings
