When materials are used, adhesives often adhere to roller surfaces.
Thermally conductive materials enable the transfer of heat in the desired direction through the roller coating. Production parameters can be specifically controlled and processes can be run more precisely and efficiently. This enables the cooling and heating rollers used in numerous applications to be used effectively.
In many processes, heat transfer, i.e. good cooling or heating performance through the elastomer coating, is a decisive process advantage.
Problems in brief:
- No thermal conductivity with conventional roller coatings
- Heat transport via the roller covering not possible
